I bought a 4-bedroom home on Martha’s Vineyard which needed what I considered some relatively “easy” updating. Lu McPherson was referred by a friend and after viewing his prior work online I took a leap of faith and decided to work with him. It was the best decision I ever made! While I had done renovations on prior homes in the past, they were much less complex and I was present to oversee the work. In this case, not only was I remote but I asked for a very tight timeline – I needed to be in the house within 6- 8 weeks. McPherson and his team were 100% professional from beginning to end. Communication throughout the project was excellent and he worked to my budget and level of comfort. The house (not surprisingly) needed a bit more work than I’d originally anticipated but everything suggested by McPherson and his team was necessary and communicated ahead of work being started.

The renovations were absolutely exactly as I wanted and exceeded my expectations! Importantly, with this team I did not have to fly over to the island to review work - updates by photo and video were made available constantly.

Finally, the work was done on budget and completely early  (despite my adding several new requests in the middle of the project)!  I would recommend McPherson Development LLC, for any home renovation/construction project without reservation. I’m already planning to get on their schedule for the next phase of my home renovations!
